Lustre ist das einzige schnelle und stabile parallele Filesystem, das

als OpenSource verfügbar ist.

Am MPI fuer Meteorologie ist eine Lustre Filesystem auf Sun X4500

Servern mit ca. 120 TB Netto Kapazität im Einsatz. Inhalt des Vortrags

sind vor allem die Erfahrungen bei der Einrichtung und dem Betrieb

dieses Filesystems:

- Komponenten von Lustre OSS, OST, MDS, MGS

- Einrichtung Lustre 1.4

- Upgrade auf Lustre 1.6

- Patchless Clients in Lustre 1.6

- Konfiguration von Sun x4500 (Thumper) Systemen für Lustre

- Quota Support im Lustre Filesystems

- Performance des Lustre Filesystems
